One command, one wallet
Node 20 or newer. It creates a private key in your home folder, prints the address, and tells you exactly what to send to it on Robinhood Chain.

Venice settles inference in USDC on Base. Robinhood Chain runs on USDG. Rialto is the bridge between the two, inside a single key.
Hold USDG on Robinhood Chain
Send USDG and a few cents of ETH to the Rialto address. That single EOA is the agent's identity on chain, its x402 payer and its Venice login.
Cross
rialto fund 10 quotes Relay (Across as fallback), deposits USDG, and USDC arrives on Base at the same address in about two seconds. Then the wallet signs a gasless USDC authorization that Venice settles into a prepaid balance.

Every Venice request carries a fresh signed login. The reference agent reads prices and wallets on Robinhood Chain, pays x402 endpoints in USDG when it needs data, and stops at the budget you set.

Do I need the token to use the kit?
No. USDG pays for everything on chain and Venice credit pays for inference. Holding Rialto raises your tier on the hosted API and MCP: more requests per minute, the portfolio tool, batch calls.
Which chains are involved?
Your wallet lives on Robinhood Chain (USDG). The bridge moves value to Base (USDC) only so Venice can credit the same address. Nothing else.
What does a run cost?
The test run on September 9: 0.0001 USDG for an x402 call, about 0.1 percent for the bridge, 0.0075 USD for one chat plus a four-tool agent run.
Where is my private key?
In ~/.rialto/config.json on your machine, mode 600, or in RIALTO_PRIVATE_KEY. It is never uploaded. Back it up.
Can an agent drain the wallet?
Ceilings are enforced in code before any signature: maxPaymentUsdg per x402 call, agentBudgetUsd per run, an optional host allowlist. Transfers and top-ups are separate tools an agent should confirm with you.
Is it audited?
No. The code is small, MIT, and readable in an afternoon. Keep small balances in the agent wallet until it is.
Do I need Venice credit to use the chain tools?
No. Chain status, balances, wallet reports, stock prices and pools work with an empty wallet, and even without installing anything through the hosted API and MCP.
Can I use my own Venice API key instead?
Yes. rialto init --venice-key your-key switches to API key mode; the wallet still handles USDG and x402.

Where Rialto sits
Venice already has an x402 kit on Base and one on Solana. Robinhood Chain has x402 facilitators. Nothing joined the two until now.
